Be Safe
Binding too tightly for long periods of time may cause muscle compression and possibly limit lung capacity (with long-term use). Try to limit binding time, and use a binder with the appropriate amount of compression (breathing room!). Do not bind while sleeping, and use the binder recommended by your surgeon when binding is part of your aftercare.
